A look into the future

One of the pictures I took during the little zoo-tour my partner and I did in July. It was taken in park with a huge wolf pack. They've got about 30 wolves - this guy is one of them. You might say: Well, he is not that pretty. But he reminds me of a roleplay-character of mine, Devaki, who is inplay about 4 years old. Now he's deep black, has got only a few grey hairs around his nose - but in the future that might change. And here we have a might-be-picture, a future Deva, who turned old and grey, has got many scars on his body, maybe his eyes don't work that good any more and he already has some trouble with his hind-leg. But he is alive and - to me - seems to be happy. A bit unsure, maybe not a leader, but it looks like a happy end of an all-in-all happy life. That's what I want for him. We'll see, what the time brings
