Its actually not cute in logical terms. The wolf on the right is a higher rank than the wolf on the left. The wolf on the right is punishing the left wolf. I think its biting the other's muzzle. I read the most of the book in The Wolves of The Beyond. I don't know everything about wolves sadly.
Otherwise, very good catch. I would love to live in Europe, we don't see wolves in Ohio. Good job and keep taking pictures!!
yeah we had twins but the girl died, dammit, the boy merlin, he can do full spins in the air when he chassing the ball. they used to do this crazy dance haha, no it just looked lie dancing, they would chase each other and hold each other up and bite each others necks and faces, just playing
In a wolf pack, this is a sign, an order to submit. The dominant in the group, use this technique to submit dominant male or female. I used to work with wolves in a park, and one of the group tried to do it with me. I can tell you that it is very impressive, as a wolf has twice even more strenght then a dog. I had a massive bruise on my chin when I left their living space. After that, my boss had forbidden me to enter into their space because this male would have tried again, and it would have been dangerous for me. So they've assigned another person to take care of the pack. The wolf felt that I had a weakness for them, and tried to take advantage of it ! But still I didn't change my love for them....
I dont think ive ever seen a bad pic of a real wolf. they must be the most photogenic animals on the planet. Awesome picture its crazy how clean that shot came out. How many pics did you take? And do you have access to wolves? Or was this just a one shot.
I took about 20 pictures of that scene, this is the best but the others are nice too. All in all I took a few hundred pictures that day - but no, I have no access to them, this was taken in some kind of zoo. So, there was a fence between us.
